I worked for Evel when he had tested a prototype Skycycle to shoot across the canyon. It ran out of steam about halfway across, and sank into the river. Myself and two divers from Twin Falls searched the river for the remains. It was almost a month before a man downriver from the jump site found the remains of the skycycle and turned it in. I remember going down some steep stairs by the Shoshone falls to gain access to the canyon, but do not see them in any of the pictures by the falls.

I have a chinese type candy serving tray it is silver but scracthed can still see beautiful designs it stands about 12 inches high and is missing one part , it was my grandmothers who inherited in from her aunt or sister approxmatly 1885. I would like to find someone who could restore it some, and then donate it.either to boise or idaho city. I am 65 and have always heard of a chinese connection, but we could not ask questions. Except to know as my mother so politicly incorrect would say there was a china man in the woodpile.I was born with beatiful almond eyes , but unfortunely had surgery done on them in1989 which I have regretted ever since. mary l smith maiden trager

Thank you for sharing one of the historically rich sites in our area! The park at Spalding also has beautiful arbor grounds, with plenty of parking, where visitors can picnic after or before their visit. More information on sites like the Nez Perce National Historical Park, and more, can be found on our Visitor Bureau website
